The imagination and style of aspiring designers is an important source of information and Tosca Blu has decided to seek out, encourage and recognise creative young people. The initiative, organised by Tosca Blu, focuses on young NABA students who had to propose a new design for a Tosca Blu rucksack during their 2-year degree in fashion and textile design at NABA. The slogan for the unique design was chosen to coincide with the Expo 2015 slogan: “Feeling the Planet, Energy for Life”.
You can now vote for your favourite among the three finalist projects from young designers online. The best three include “Nature fragments from satellite pictures” by Sergio Chiodin, Italy, “Tribute to woman as source of life” by Teresa Ribeiro, Portugal, and “Tropical colours inspired by Klimt” by Victoria Prokhorova, Russia.
The three projects selected will be displayed online at www.toscablu.it between 17 October and 3 November and anyone visiting the website can cast their vote for the most attractive rucksack design. According to Tosca Blu, the winning rucksack will be produced in time for Expo 2015 and will be available in selected monobrand stores and in the Tosca Blu e-shop.
The winning rucksack in the Tosca Blu and NABA competition will be recognised at the award ceremony in April 2015.
