From January onwards, Rihanna will not only be acting as brand ambassador, but also working as Creative Director for Puma. As head designer of the Women’s Training collection, the 26-year-old will be working directly with Puma’s international design team and incorporating her „particularly good sense of style and innovation in the sports brand products“, announced Puma. The impact that she will be making is expected to be seen in the 2015 spring/summer collection. Whether it be a new interpretation of traditional Puma designs or the creation of completely new products, the collections inspired by Rihanna are intended to appeal to women around the world, supporting them in their daily training and embodying the self-confidence for which Rihanna is known and loved.
Rihanna is now designing for Puma
Commenting on her new partnership with Puma, Rihanna says, „It is fantastic to have found a brand such as Puma, which is unmatched in terms of strength and individuality. I couldn’t imagine a better partner with which to work as creative director. You are right to get excited about what Puma and I are going to get off the ground together.“
As brand ambassador, Rihanna will be taking on an important role in Puma’s global brand campaign, Forever Faster, alongside world-class athletes, such as Usain Bolt and Sergio Agüero, according to a Puma spokesman. Furthermore, she will also be appearing at Puma’s numerous events for fans, customers and retailers, as well as being involved in social media and product initiatives in the training and fitness field.
