The partnership between Adidas and the multitalented Pharrell Williams from the US is based on the theme of equality – the ultimate symbol of similarity, acceptance and strength. Pharrell pursues the idea of equality with his own products. According to Adidas, this value is also the driving force behind the new Tennis Pack II collection campaign, captured by photographer Ryan McGinley. The campaign unites people from across all races, nationalities, genders and social backgrounds within Generation Y.
The tennis-inspired collection comprises three superstar satin track tops, as well as a dressed-up version of the Stan Smith sneaker. This cult shoe design includes parts made from the vivid-coloured felt material like the one used in tennis balls. The satin track tops also come in bright colours, such as lurid orange, neon yellow, neon green and white.
The collection is available from 31 October in selected boutiques, concept stores and Adidas Originals flagship stores, as well as online at www.adidas.com/pharrellwilliams.
